I tried to do some of the drippy ones on paper but it doesn't work at all. Some weird conjunction of chemistry/physics that i havent worked out yet. Left the studio pretty late last night having pretty much finished 3 pictures (the one above sold, so massive thanks to the buyer!) and I was working on 2 of these as well... these are painted and printed onto canvas... a substrate I haven't worked on probably since art college. It is a pain in the arse! It moves... it has all these fiddly little textures that paint rolls over. BUT. It is almost as if someone has designed it to give paint texture and depth. I'd say it probably can't take the battering a piece of ply can take but that is an experiment for another day.

Maybe you should think about video in high resolution and post a link on the website - that would work much better....
Snow is planned for us here in Chicago tomorrow - good luck with a racer bike in that!

It would be interesting to do some video of the studio at the mo as it is mad messy but all full of bright pots of paint and half finished pictures.

Yorkie ah its the light in the studio.... as soon as there is no natural light it is really hard to get a decent picture. It would be interesting to do some video of the studio at the mo as it is mad messy but all full of bright pots of paint and half finished pictures. Enjoy the snow Leo |
