sometimes, the regular run is worth more than the PP / AP, dependant on the buyer really. shipping those prints are a bugger, if you get them from abroad, any slight damage will be scared on the print for ever.
on the companions... price isnt the issue, its the availability and where the person is buying it from. waste of time buying from USA if you live in UK as the shipping for the beast will be $1000... and mr. customs man aint gonna turn a blind eye for that thing rolling past his table.
they are cheaper in the US than in Europe, but here they arent as many, so prices are determined on the fact of ease of transport.
the 4ft black dissected aint out yet... and prices will be $5000 plus shipping at the lowest on kawsone and for toy shops in the NY area will charge upto $5500-6000 plus shipping
over here, goodlife store is charging ยฃ5000. firmanment was charging 7000euros!!
i would pay the uk price... no hassle, no customs, no shipping worries.

and lastly the issue of lean on the dissected colour version is a myth, and the black original companion is said to be the rarest due to the mould breaking at medicom, rumoured only half of the 100 were made.

I think the black dissected would be incredibly expensive if you can get your hands on it just because of the fct taht i dont think its been released just yet!

i am going to get all my KAWS posters, flyers, prints framed over xmas i think... time to give them a place on the wall.
KAWS year next year! Boston group show soon, Madrid solo in Feb, then the biggest show in june at the Aldrich.

And as CS says, these are unbelievably heavy. My advice would also be to buy from someone who kept the box and internal styrofoam molding. When I was searching for one I was surprised how many people ditched all that stuff after purchasing.
