look at the font. Look at the length of the text at the bottom. They’re different. Backwards or not I can clearly see the difference.
Either laz has mistakenly used the wrong image of the back or… I don’t know. The 2 photos don’t match.
maybe the issue is your XXL ones were Fasson backed, but the A3 XL were Avery.
I’ve never heard of 2 large sticker sizes, but would love to see photos and comparisons.

All I can 100% Vouch for is that my XXL stickers ( or XL stickers ) were purchased Direct From POW and all 3 of the designs were Fasson Backed
Im not bothered with Fonts or that people cant read what it says on there own stickers.
Im just telling you what I know to be 100% true

Are yours XL or XXL? You seem sure on your eBay listing that they are bigger than the XL ones… and that’s very interesting info for a collector, so would be great to confirm.
Fonts, backing and exact size is generally how these are identified as real or fake, so more info you can supply the better. As I asked several times, a picture of a larger than A3 “keep left” with Fasson back would be interesting to see.

it’s not questioning the authenticity of Hoops.
just pointing out the laz listing can’t be trusted as proof of anything as the images don’t match so it’s not clear if the back is of a genuine XL sticker, or maybe it’s the XXL one that Hoops talks about… or it’s the small one, which has a subtly different design to the XL (but I think the logos would appear bigger to the image).
If XXL versions exist, then it’s most likely they’re the Fasson backed ones (Hoop’s one) and standard XL is most likely only Avery.

So as far as I know :
They only stocked 2 versions of stickers
Small and Large.
It was Laz who referred to them as XXL so I used that phrase
It was 20 years ago and they were cheap stickers.
They gave away the small stickers .. and then started selling them in packs for £5 I think ..I cant really remember the price.
The Large were £10 or £15 - once again im not sure of the retail price as I paid £4.25 + VAT for them
They really didnt care too much about what they printed them on etc etc as they were cheap stickers
Listen I have just proved that the larger stickers did indeed have a Fasson Backing so just accept that you have learnt something today.
Trust me untill about 2 years ago I would have sworn that these were the only XL or XXL sticker designs ever released ... Untill I saw LAZ roll out about 4 or 5 other designs that I had never come across.
Back in the day I tried to get every sticker that they had issued ... and for many years I thought I had done that

Hard to know whether the image can be trusted 100% (images on websites don’t always match the actual product), but at least looks like these ones for sale on POW looked like Hoops’.

Haha sadly, this does come up with highly sought-after stickers. An easy example is Barry McGee - people will peel his stickers and attempt to sell them since they are highly desireable, and it can be pretty annoying because they will attempt to restore it onto another backing and take a photo that hides the fact. Pretty undesirable, however.. I have been given a peeled Twist sticker from Bob Licky (famous sticker artist from early 90's SF) and I cherish it because for me, it has it's own backstory, coming from a certain time period, enjoyed, and then archived. Lol I view stickers differently than 99% of people but it's my primary object of focus in collecting, so I felt like sharing an alternative viewpoint! Many on this forum know of my love for stickers. Cheers
