imagine the logistics of emailing each group per item with updates in bids... nightmare. if your doing a blind auction for charity there are plenty of simpler ways to do it

Then I think a lot of people will get pissed. This info is direct from the gallery, which I called Friday.
I don't know the guys working there but the person I spoke to was really nice and they do it for MSF, so as far as I am concerned, nothing to be pissed off with.

This is such a stupid way of rolling this out. They can inflate the price as much as they want, create fake bidding wars, hand pick who it goes too. I enquired about two pieces within 30 seconds and haven't heard anything. I despise releases with a lack of transparency. I think a boycott is in order |

If this whole thing is going to be a silent auction, when is the end date/time. This is all very unprofessional and it just seems like they are pulling random numbers out of a hat and replying collectors with what they want to sell the pieces at. Zero transparency and I doubt they will post the final sale price too.
