Many of those artists have been hyped on here.
It is quite obvious which members hype artists for their own benefit.
It continues to happen now.
Fortunately some of those artists are hugely talented and their careers continue to thrive, despite this forum.

I completely agree Coach. This forum always seems to have a flavor of the month/year and it can be really toxic to even the most talented artists. As an aside, I've recently discovered ceramics. Potters have an amazing community here in the US.

I have for a long time many artists who are not noticed here in the forum, perhaps it is also the reason why these for years slowly but surely continue to increase in value, now it is unfortunately Noir the forum has taken on, only he has substance and quality, his normal unique Artworks, were even before the forum popup a little higher, here are apples compared to pears, his Mini Heads and Mini Canvas are nothing that interested his collectors. I own some bigger canvases and I am not willing to sell them and Thierry's collectors won't sell either, that will make the difference later. A long time ago, large pieces of wall were sold by him for 6-digit amounts. The real collectors of Thierry don't care how the market is, they will not sell anything.
Thierry have a old base not like Pejac ...
I just hope that the pros don't find out that Ben Vautier was the first "writer" on the streets and make him great again ... but the entry price is now too high to make a hype out of it.

I agree that the forum has a habit of hyping artists of dubious merit. However, it’s also at times been successful at spotting real talent. Thierry has that. He’s been around for a long time and has a good base of collectors who were into him before the hype and will keep collecting him whenever and wherever this all ends. For what it’s worth I think that Thierry is the real thing - long history on the streets, distinctive style and some top notch collaborations. I mean as ridiculous as the price increases have been over the past few weeks, we’re still talking about a grand or do for a mini canvas and maybe three for a small canvas - I actually think that’s pretty good value.
