Thierry Noir đ¨đľ Berlin Wall ⢠French Street Arist , by Terry Fuckwitt on Sept 9, 2020 13:10:09 GMT 1, Don't want to sound rude, but do we need a link to every new Thierry Noir item that gets listed on ebay? No probs, no more links
No problem with special items that might pop up, but I can imagine there is going to be more and more stuff getting listed now and it will just clog up the forum.

It's clogging up my limbic system in my small brainđ I dreamt last night that Thierry stole all my art and replaced it with his work. He was stood there threatening me with a piece of Berlin Wall, so I ran to my car, only to find he had replaced by Ford fiesta with a Trabant painted in scary faces...

That would be scary with a whole house decorated with thierrys work , may get an odd look from guests with excuses to exit promptly

It's quite interesting.
Its like he has always been there and it's an easy buy, and nothing really grabs you enough to get it.
Then.................
every fucker wants one, which makes us all want one
It's not art that can be discussed in an artistic way, or is it?
Its been on the fringes for years, everyone with a year or so in this market has heard of him and seen his stuff, almost like in the subconsciousness
Then......
Boom, he tips...or has he tipped?
Will be interesting to me to see how this plays out over the next few years
I do wish him well, seems like a cool guy

Somebody posting EBay links with no comments is quite appropriate for this thread.
This threads sucks and is boring.

Thierry Noir đ¨đľ Berlin Wall ⢠French Street Arist , by qwerty on Sept 10, 2020 0:45:29 GMT 1, I dont think he is the next stik/banksy/whoever. I find it interesting watching the rise, the fomo, the people like me who have been genuine fans for years and should have supported him financially earlier by buying his work, the cynics, the bubble, will it be a permanent rise or will the bubble pop, his instagram cash grab, the ebay shill bidding or not, it's interesting to see - he's been going since the 80s and I don't think his work is bland, i like how he protested against one of histories greatest wrongs by mocking it with cartoon like faces that he could have been shot or banged up for doing. I wish him well and if the thread annoys you why not just skim past it? cheeky young whippersnapper here I know!

Thierry Noir đ¨đľ Berlin Wall ⢠French Street Arist , by frezza on Sept 10, 2020 8:49:21 GMT 1, Just had a thought that he had signed my copy of Street Art Fine Art several years back. Had a pleasant surprise having checked and realised heâd done a page of doodles on the reverse of his signature page. How does this work these days then? Chop the page into individual heads and sell separately? đ

Thierry Noir đ¨đľ Berlin Wall ⢠French Street Arist , by peppino on Sept 10, 2020 9:37:05 GMT 1, Hi everyone, Given my prints for sale (not TN) aren't moving and I still need to sell something to buy a small original, I am wondering how much this could be worth.
I had a lot of questions when I posted in the latest buy thread.
It's sold out, unknown size edition. Sign is in relief, not hand signed.
I also have the original box that's really nice too.
Thanks for any opinions.

Thierry Noir đ¨đľ Berlin Wall ⢠French Street Arist , by Street Collector on Sept 10, 2020 9:40:33 GMT 1, I canât understand it. I wouldnât follow threads of artists that I donât like. If thereâs an artist I donât like or that I canât trust, I simply ignore it.
I do see people here highly concerned about this, much more than they should, insulting the artist while some say that they even dream of him!!!!
Once you see this, you should tell yourself: âsomething big is happeningâ. Little things never cause such a great stir.
Whatâs wrong with them?? Is it because prices have gone up for those who sell thousands of works while thousands of artists remain unknown? There are thousands of meaningless artists that are charging a lot more!!!
Is it necessary to insult him?? Seriously??
Letâs go further. Is there such a big difference between INVADER, Kaws and Noir?? If there were one, who would be the most important???
Whatâs wrong with them?? Are they perhaps afraid of missing something??
Iâll tell you. Whatâs happening is that theyâre still assimilating it. Donât you worry because youâll respect him. So, itâs not that important, it doesnât really matter. He will be respected by all, just like a father is naturally respected.
Place it in your living room next to other works of arts and youâll realize that it will become the one youâll look at the most. When having people around, youâll see that it wonât go unseen. Friends who would never have bought a painting in their lives have told me that theyâd like to have one of his. A worldwide design with something unique, very powerful and masterly. There is much more about these heads than what they seem to be at first, and once you look at them again, youâll suddenly notice the whole story behind exploding in your head.
It was too late when I saw it, but I did. It looked incredible but it was there, lost as it if were nothing, one of the biggest classics of street art. A fundamental artist worth of showing in any big collection, and I would even dare to say that a âbasic artist for any big collectionâ. Nobody is going to weigh up having a good work from Noir. Itâs that simple.
Do you think being one of the fundamental artists in street art is not enough?? Collections are being gathered incredibly fast. Specific museums are being opened across the globe. Street art is becoming part of lots of collections and very soon it is going to be part, in its own right, of contemporary art museums all around the world.
If you really are among those who are suffering because of this, I recommend you change your mind and enjoy yourself, as you may endure this for a long time otherwise. This is actually something to celebrate.
âIt went by with such a mysterious discretion, undercovered, without making a sound until it woke up like a bloody monster, like the old crocodile on the wall that sometimes woke up to eat someone and suddenly became one of the most important classics in street art to then go back to sleep, calmly in the place it should rest, Thierry Noir, a worldwide artist of a unique style that inspired a whole artistic revolutionâ.
An extremely generous, humble and outstanding human being is what I think has caused everything that happened.
Many wonât agree, but this is my opinion and here I reflect it.
Respect for you all.
Best regards,

With the Peckham rocks at 1000âŹ, Catawiki also could be an option/bet.

Best regards,
I haven't read every post in detail on this thread, but I don't see the insults you speak of. Which posts have been insulting to Thierry? I have admired him as a street artist for years, although never had the urge to purchase his works. I do find it unnecessary to post every item that is now listed on eBay though. Imagine if everyone posted a link here to all the Banksy tat that is listed on ebay, it would also become unbearable. Most members view this forum under new posts and not threads, making these links quite tedious to scroll through. If you come across an unusual item or piece of his work then link away, but we don't need to see every item. Most members here do have access to ebay.
I canât understand it.
