Banksy releases taught me that it ain't worth putting life on hold for a print. There will be others I like in the near future, there always are. Besides, I probably would have received a bollocking for buying it anyway!;D
I think the merging and overlapping of bodies is what gives the piece it's almost violent energy and I think it looks great as it is. Horses for courses though, or in this case zebras. I agree 100% that galleries should not be condecending forumites for reacting honestly to a piece, regardless of what that reaction is - everyone views art through different eyes and surely honest reaction is what an art forum is all about. Well done if you snagged one, I hope you enjoy it.

An hour later I decided to pull the trigger... All gone.
I think it's kinda wicked, for just a couple wild zebras. However, I think his '3 Monkeys' print was 1 of his best. And, 'Untitled Religion' was good too.

So much subtle detail in the background, its one of those paintings where you see more things the longer you look at it, especially with all the overpainting.
