Can we see your Frames? , by Deleted on Aug 14, 2020 13:45:14 GMT 1, @ekap , cant stop looking at that Miaz Bros, absolutely perfect framing! I was thinking exactly the same. Can you detail the spec on this EKAP? Its brushed aluminium 10mm wide, 25 mm deep with I think 5 mm spacers. AR glass

Can we see your Frames? , by startimeash on Aug 14, 2020 17:05:00 GMT 1, Interesting, thanks. It wouldn’t suit my taste at all. I don’t like large frames. I think they detract from the artwork. A frame should subtly complement the art, not compete with it for attention imo. As such simple black or white box frames are what most of my art wears. I would agree with all of this, to a large extent. Except and I guess in my opinion only, depending on the art the way the frame complements it doesn't always need to be subtle. I think that if you get it right you can be quite bold without it detracting. I generally use black or white box frames, and nearly always with white spacers. However, I've been more 'adventurous' with a few pieces. Would fully understand if they weren't to everyone's taste but I think they suit the art and fit well in the home we live in. That purple frame is the nuts!

That Mr Bingo is absolutely phenomenal. I didn’t realise he’d released that image. I have the ‘Hate Mail’ book that features it on the cover. It’s a hilarious read.
