The Tauba Auerbach was fantastic in real life and had a very prominent position right next to the entrance of main gallery. Great result.

I think that was the problem with this lot. There was an assumption that it would go for more than ยฃ40k and people did not even engage with the process. I know at least two buyers who would in a heartbeat have paid ยฃ50k+. That's auctions for you and the problem with reserves set to draw people in. You win some you lose some. Whereas I think the "Glory" piece did better than I expected.
