Really f**king transparent if anything. I still think there is something not right about it... but I guess its nice to see he has the balls to do it in the open rather than using a phone bidder or purchaser for him.

Sotheby's Art Auctions β’ LONDON π¬π§, by dotdot on Oct 15, 2007 20:25:49 GMT 1, Surfin on the edge is one way of describing the actions of the Laz man. It could be argued that being to sole seller / vendor of the wares of B he has an amount of control of what goes onto the market. When stuff does come on the market he, if he wishes, buys it. Thus pushing the market up.
It's a risky business - and belies many assumptions least not - a Belief which is cast iron - in both his artist and himself.
Dont forget he bought the (i heard) mic which was in auction earlier this year.

Sotheby's Art Auctions β’ LONDON π¬π§, by bobbymeachamjr on Oct 15, 2007 20:33:21 GMT 1, I'm all for making as much loot as you can - it's a f*ucked up world and unfortunately we all need lots of it. Its just a glaringly hypocritical conflict of selling "anti-gov't / anti corporate" products (notice I use the word product) while totally adopting (and even pushing) the very agendas that you're supposed to be against.

Ideally yes. Probability no. The world we know is being destroyed at an exponential pace. Only the inevitable unforeseen catastrophe of epic proportions can the planet start healing...
