Maybe you think he must make every single thing totally different from any other thing seen before. What I donโt understand is why this same word โregurgitateโ isnโt used with lots of other artists that are getting applauses and are hyped here instead, while they do exactly the same (sometimes beautiful) thing for years.
I wonโt give names of artists who make the same thing once and again. But you donโt need to be a genius to make a looooong list

Do you think that such โregurgitatingโ comment deserves any explanation because he used tiny people like a couple of times before?
I donโt want to waste my time explaining things to someone who wonโt care what I say. Haters donโt act for facts

They do but Pejac is a one trick pony, and heโs not taking risks. Heโs technically a good draftsman but thatโs not enough in todayโs world.

Social distancing , by pada1 on Sept 3, 2020 16:04:23 GMT 1, I somehow expect mroe from Pejac than many other artists. He mamaged to amaze me with very creative takes in the past. For the past few, there has been a slow down on what he shared on social media. I donโt think itโs to be taken as a lack of creativity. I have seen before that his posts are usual things that he has done a couple of months before. In the era of internet and fast information, we forgot to be patient and enjoy the wait.

Social distancing , by axel on Sept 6, 2020 23:13:01 GMT 1, Lack of creativity? This really needs to be better qualified... But sorry, have you seen how many totally different paints he did for the famous-infamous NY show? They are all different: style, topic, technique, idea etc.
I'm really not sure what to expect more from an artist...
But then, I also quite like what pada1 said "In the era of internet and fast information, we forgot to be patient and enjoy the wait."

Social distancing , by Young Squire on Sept 9, 2020 19:01:41 GMT 1, Am a big fan of pejac and think his work is hugely varied.
Why do I think that, because I don't love everything he produces but whatever it is it gets people talking, thinking and looking at art in general. Some of his works for me are stunning, some thought provoking, some clever takes or in interesting mediums that work just as they are and others I don't get and would never find a space on my wall for.
He doesn't churn out work or look to make a quick buck.
Yes some of his stuff has similar themes (the impact we are having on the environment and on each other) but that is obviously what he finds stimulating. I like that his subject matter is fairly consistent but the style and medium diverse as it means some of the stuff he captures will be stuff I like. Would you rather he churned out self portraits or pictures of books with witty titles or had someone else produce his artwork?
I get that some people don't like it which is fine. I haven't loved a few of his latest pieces but am always excited to see what is coming next.
Just by 2 cents.

Social distancing , by Buff Monster Fan on Sept 14, 2020 18:14:51 GMT 1, Much like many other artists, you can approach Pejacโs work from two perspectives - his prints and his original work. Recent feedback that Iโve seen on this forum is that Pejacโs more current work has lacked inspiration and originality and has felt repetitive, in correspondence with criticism around Pejacโs management. I suppose that this is rooted mostly in the fact that all of his major editioned prints have been largely similar - larger size format, mostly black and white, environmentally themed. Perhaps there is some concern that this repetitiveness has led to a flattening of his print resale prices?
What I canโt agree with is that Pejacโs creativity is waning or that his originality in original/street work has declined. It doesnโt appear to me that he overproduces art and a simple follow of his Instagram shows some beautiful work, ingenuity and experimentation with multiple mediums. As mentioned, heโs an excellent technical drawer, but his work in nature, cracked glass, paint, Sharpie and sculpture mediums are fantastic as well.
Take a look at some of his work over the past 1-2 years, including a few of my favorites, his work inside of โEl Duesoโ prison in Spain, Fossil in NYC and Nature First:
Confetti Homage to Seurat
Quarantine Window Series
Greenpuzzle
Hunter
The Shape of Days
Camouflage
Land Adrift
Fossil
Hope
Alive End
Nature First
And a few more I like...

Social distancing , by pada1 on Oct 4, 2020 2:33:37 GMT 1, and more surprises he is slowly uploading...
He is clearly using social medias with discernment. He doesnโt flood us with advertising or products. So he is an outlier from most of the artists represented and discussed in this forum. He is likely not well understood by the community, until he brings an event up and get everyone short-term attention.
Patience is a virtue. For the artist and the fellow collectors.
