Laz Emporium • Steve Lazarides , by 11 on Jan 28, 2015 1:48:51 GMT 1, Funnily enough, the 3 unsigned Banksy's on lazinc say 'numbered by the artist', and if that isn't a secondary sale then i can only assume these aren't part of the batch he just bought, er, I mean brokered a deal to access the archive
And calling out a client as a flipper for the CYW sale - think he might be a bit pissed about that

It's so in his interest for these to sell high that I don't know how he could let them sell low!

I have to disagree. The quality on prints from at least 2007 and newer are fantastic.

Laz Emporium • Steve Lazarides , by met on Jul 10, 2015 22:27:49 GMT 1, The first time I saw a Banksy print was in a shop called 'Eat My Handbag b**ch' off Brick Lane (I think it was opposite where the Big Chill bar is now) Did anyone remember when selfridges used to sell them? Yes, in the basement, where they had (perhaps still have) an area for framed multiples.
I remember chuckling with a friend about the fact Banksy had added £100 to the price of a print because he'd blessed it with his hand signature.
It was something like £200 for a framed Bomb Middle England. At the time, our reaction was, "Fúck that. Cheeky bastard."

(read brutal and .. even Scum .. now there's a flashback for some of you..) "made in britain" - when i see laz photo in that interview.. he has a look of complete and utter contempt... verging on hatred. (for those of you who live on netflix - i doubt it ever made it even to video) we should have a photo and caption contest.. and shuv on somewhere on the forum - it's getting a bit boring isn't it ? start with laz's photo in that article... (not that interesting as it was.. though). //
Excellent film, went to school with Tim's son, Tim picked him up one day I had to blurt out how good made in Britain was. Tim 'thanks sunshine, glad you didn't mention Mr Orange.' Legend

Banksy Captured Volume 2 £125 edition of 5000. I would have bought this, but not that price.

Laz Emporium • Steve Lazarides , by Deleted on Sept 3, 2020 11:02:02 GMT 1, His pricing on a lot of things is confusing to say the least, but saw a framed Xenz for £250. I've been looking at buying something by Xenz for a while, but couldn't find the right thing. At the size and already framed, seemed a very good deal. Seems to be the price this was on release.

Laz seems quite the eccentric, but I do enjoy his bonkers pursuits.

Laz Emporium • Steve Lazarides , by dannubs on Sept 3, 2020 11:09:39 GMT 1, This book release looks like its meant to be paired with the Black edition from volume 1 which was also silly money.
Hopefully (probably) there'll be a £25 release of vol 2, bit shitty if he doesn't release a standard edition of this after we've all bought vol 1
