I wish they would of posted them up later in the day, some people dont have access to computers during the day( work outside) at least give everyone a chance, at least with footy tickets you know when they go on sale!

I can't see how the way that print went on sale was of any benefit to "real" fans, as loads of them have missed out on even the chance of getting one.

A mailout the day before would have been much fairer in that everyone who did want one would at least have known when to look. I only found out about it by chance because I signed in to the D*Face forum and someone had posted there that it was up on POW. Had I logged in half an hour later I would have been disappointed too.

Real fans! i bet half the people that bought them are ebay hawkers with nothing better to do in thier sorry little lives than buy up prints and flog them on once they have sold out, ebay really gets on my t*ts!
in fact i hate it with a passion, without it this banksy price boom wouldnt be happening, the people who bought them would actually want them....to keep!
And i know the same thing will happen with the banksy prints, theyll go on sale midday while im stuck up a tree! and every little idiot ( apart from the real fans who use the forum ) who wants to make a bit of money will buy them and sell them, once they sell out on evil bay!

I feel for the urbantreemoney - seriously. there is a general assumption in life that everyone has computers, credit cards, intenet access during day etc. I've done a lot of voluntary work with credit unions, the co-op bank, and financial exclusion in general.

No emails were sent out as far as i am aware.
I actually called them on Wednesday evening to ask when they would be on sale as i was on a long haul flight most of Thursday was I was told "we dont know when they will go up" and everyone on the list will be mailed.
So i have completely missed out.....why could they have not just told me to check the website in the morning.

Guys, I really need to get some money for a surprise Chirstmas holiday I'm going on with my family and am considering selling my Dog Save The Queen Union Jack edition, it's got the green spraypainted union jack behind the queen image and is out of an edition of 32 copies. Anyone interested? Otherwise maybe I'll ebay it. Although I'm not sure... it does upset me to part with it, but sometimes you need cash...

I've no idea of it's value. Maybe I will Ebay it? Is D*Face popular on ebay anyone?

Went to a preview at Stolen Space gallery tonight, 3 "new" D*Face canvases, but essentially the newest was a "stretched" version of the Dog Save The Queen, mix of silk screen print, spraypaint and acryllic paint. Others were a second run of the Warhol banana one, but with more drips from the banana..and a green (I think...cant remember now!) Hate canvas.

The bloke who makes the ceramic guns in presentation cases had about 4 pieces on show, including the gun with the Christ image used on the flyers given out at death and glory. Only £600, which surprised me as I thought it would be a lot more. Some nice pieces on wood and other materials by Word to Mother, a very tasty Connor Harrington canvas.

Worth a look, not sure when its open properly, but should imagine it will be from tomorrow. Will post back if/when I find out. (goes and searches before Nu replies on my behalf)

Got a nice freebie from a bummed up order - they are really nice in there, a complete contrast to SG and know their art inside out. Beth was brilliant at talking about everything on show.
