I also think this is the best print release image for a long time. Not a fan of a lot of the recent stuff. I think the reason I like more is because it contains very little of the crappy Lichtenstien newspaper cartoon faces. Agree it will be difficult to frame and allow changeable backgrounds but it could be worked out. @fbackwardsr it's not the first time he's fallen out with people. I know of a sculptor who did a fair amount of work for Dface that fell out with him in a big way.

I did a 'real world' equivilant; queued up for an hour and left without a purchase after I entered the gallery. I only live 2 min walk from the gallery so not too much time wasted.

I think some artists must see a handful of people buy prints at flipper prices on ebay and think everyone will pay that much. At least these prices will destroy the flipper market and make sure only people that REALLY want one get one.

Very much, in fact, and much better than all of the prints he's put out this year. I like that's he trying something new, both visually and conceptually, and can appreciate that the fading on the sky must've been a pain in the ass to print. Well done
I do agree though that it would've made more sense to sell the backgrounds separately, or sell them framed in a way that would make it easier to switch out
