Banksy 2003, On Concrete, Surface to Air Store, by surface2airnic on Sept 13, 2020 22:46:29 GMT 1, Genuine Banksy from 2003. First official exhibition of his work at the original Surface to Air store, there's a thread on here somewhere. 2 metre long piece of concrete, with foam core backing, featuring Bombing Middle England Non authenticated, but plenty of proof of provenance. any ideas on how to value ?

Get it authenticated and sell it at auction.

This is the piece that was in Whistler BC Canada. If I recall correctly, the owners claimed it came from Paris and it was work by Banksy, done commercially. PCO should provide guidance if it is commercial work.
If they say no, then it is a no. As in "it was not supposed to be removed from original location".
But I think, because the work was for a store, the owners may be in luck. At that point, it'd be one of the few legit pieces of wall art to get PC.

Banksy 2003, On Concrete, Surface to Air Store, by surface2airnic on Sept 14, 2020 15:25:22 GMT 1, The piece is mine, I am one of the original co-founders of Surface to Air.. Yes, the work was shown in a store in Whistler last year. Banksy/ PC will not authenticate as this piece with any others was done in our basement and not part of the 'show' open to the public, it was for myself and the other s2a partners.... Any experts may know that the skeleteon/toilet seat image was in the first edition of Wall and Piece but removed from later editions. This also fell into the category of not made for commercial purposes. Just looking for some guidance, here's a flyer from the exhibition

Banksy 2003, On Concrete, Surface to Air Store, by Fast Eddie on Sept 14, 2020 16:13:37 GMT 1, Thanks for adding context. Then it seems the closest analogy in terms of classification would be a gift from the artist (similar concept to the gift prints given out at shows by Banksy and not authenticated by PC). Typically, signed gift prints w/ solid provenance trade at 1/4 to 1/5 of the value of equivalent PC certified prints...

Banksy 2003, On Concrete, Surface to Air Store, by Daniel Silk on Sept 15, 2020 1:52:18 GMT 1, Could be a record breaking value on a piece like this. Nice and BIG, plus being on concrete makes it extra special. I would recommend building up a good record of photos, emails, letters, or anything else from its history, as any potential buyer would love that. Might be worth contacting directly with a few of the Hollywood Celebrity Banksy Collectors, as I would guess that would get you the highest price.

Banksy 2003, On Concrete, Surface to Air Store, by Rubberneck on Sept 15, 2020 15:16:23 GMT 1, I know of another Bomb Middle England of a similar size that was sprayed on the wall of the production company Addiction who (Badly) produced the blak twang video Banksy directed, this was around the time he sprayed the guardsman at MPC post production.
When addiction closed down the owner had it removed from the off white painted brick wall.

Banksy 2003, On Concrete, Surface to Air Store, by Terry Fuckwitt on Sept 15, 2020 15:17:38 GMT 1, What a brilliant piece to own. With the rock solid provenance, this should fetch way more than a stolen Banksy from the streets.
