Very pleased with the outcome and how this will look on the wall. I also ordered a backing board panel but I haven’t had the opportunity to look at the best way of fixing the artwork to frame. Ordered online and delivered 7days later so no need to let lockdown stop you getting this framed and on the wall. Hopefully images will upload with the correct rotation!   
I ordered the frame from Jackson’s Art Supplies and used the frame builder. To give a 5ml gap around the art I used dimensions of 40cm x 40cm.
Please note they send it unassembled but don’t let this put you off as they supply the dovetail joints which are really easy to fit. If you want a backing panel you have to add this separately.

I will be looking at fixings this weekend. Some long neck picture hooks (screwed into the underside of the frame) may fix it securely in place using the metal brackets on the back of the Hirst.
I’m a framing novice so there could very well be better options and smarter solutions.

When I was doing lots of PowerPoint presentations back in the day I would always add a black border to my images as visually I found it very pleasing.

Imho the key to framing these is to float them in a thick white frame with minimal spacing on each side(1/4”). Obviously it’s all personal preference. I plan on doing the same frame set up as I did with a Villalba piece I had framed a while ago.

If down the road we want to sell these, may be a good idea to have the tabs still on as they came from Heni. I’m curious if it’s possible to float mount while keeping the hang tabs.

Perfect! This is exactly what I was going to get my framer to do, but in white.
£28 + Lockdown 2 = Worth trying it myself.

I am guessing that ones on the bay have been marked up incorrectly then, they are showing as Small Size but as an H8-1 and an H8-2.
edit - apologies, I should have said I realised there were two sizes for each print, just wondered if different variations with the H8-1 and H8-2.

I've seen listings with the names mixed up as well. People didn't really know what they were trying to flip.

That’s exactly it. They’re great and we’re hanging both, but after the rainbows release flippers thought they were onto something and now eBay is flooded and they can’t sell them like they’d hoped. Serves them right and great for the charity.
