I dont see an U/S rude copper going for the same prices and suspect there are even fewer of these in good condition out there now. RC is a better image than LIITA in my opinion but its not politically correct, so maybe the reason why its not so popular. As has been pointed out a few times, its image based but on a global level. For example, WSM, HMV, RC, Very Little Helps are, i would say very much linked to the UK. We all get it but someone outside the UK isnt going to get the humour behind these images. These images are not commanding the same prices of some of the more generic images. Well, not yet.... |

Mint US must be up there in pricing I'd say. Just the fact its Banksy's first print and the poor paper it was printed on should command a premium. Looking at recent auction results it was gaining traction even before this recent surge in pricing. |
