the swept frame is a cheap off the shelf chinese job found in most uk high street mirror shops, i had them replace the mirror with glass, cost me ยฃ85 all in.

That's pretty good value for a frame of that size!!!
It's a good statement piece. And the album is really good as well. I've got the cardboard CD case covered with red material. Think it's a bit rarer than the usual version

I do not tend to like ornate frames. I prefer simple box frames, black or white, which do not, I feel, detract from the artwork.
There are some exceptions to this, when an ornate frame enhances the artwork, because of the juxtaposition between the frame and the artwork, thus adding to the artwork rather than detracting from it. The two in my collection where I feel this works are a sweettoof painting and a Reid gstq. This works similarly well. Looks great.

I just sold the think tank 2003 double LP for only 150 pounds ( still under cello ) on eBay. Some sellers are asking 400 lol .

Yes and no... it is only pictures... posters, promo, etc... we live too much in a world made of pictures ( look Instagram, they come bigger than Facebook ) , with no exchanges, no words, etc ...
I would like them too, but we can't buy all the pictures looking great : look at what happens to Banksy records ! Even cd now ! Some that were a 1 euros 50 one month ago are now at 25/30 pounds.
Fir a lp I can understand but cd covers with plastic are so ugly , with no soul ! ( apart dig IPA know of cardboards obes ).
Those buying everything now after Dismaland and because of Banksy will have great disillusionment soon ! Even if galleries and auctions houses want to keep the prices high !
This is not rarities and, well, sorry, but why to buy a parlophone promo poster in this state !?
A print, i could understand, thee is works behind : artist artworks,signature, paper quality, smell of ink, ink, number, well , a printer house worked behind ... it is not as a commercial factory..
It is not against you, sir, but about these crazy things that we can see now ... all this hyping movement for tats, goodies etc ..,
