I am the second owner of this beautifully framed piece. Retains tags from Martin Lawrance Gallery. Absolutely mint condition!  I will consider a swap for similar value art work but please be realistic.

Nice bag. I have some of the paper ones, black print on white and also discovered in the loft my Duck Rock album with the print still inside.
Looks like a trip to the framers is in order.

Hand Painted/Mixed Media on Vinyl

Decided to put on the market for the first time, This is an original sign from the Haring Pop Shop 292 Lafayette New York- Legally removed in the early 2000's 

It is roughly 2.6 m long and it is painted on vinyl. I have included pictures of the work below. The piece was recovered in the early 2000's when they were changing the shop front (from yellow >blue). It is quite rare to find images of the original yellow front but you will see one below.

The way it is put together is that there are two vinyl sheets, the top one is yellow and the back one is white. The figures are cut out of the yellow, so the white comes through, and then the figures have been painted with a black outline.

We have the relevant provenance from the tenants of the neighbouring property who recovered the piece

We have also been in contact with the Haring Foundation. They acknowledge the piece but can't give more information as it is not in the archive

Very interesting, is it definitely hand painted? I'm surprised that was on the outside until the 2000's. I would of thought it would of been removed long ago.
