I am looking to purchase a Paint Post Angel poster in mint condition (for a reasonable price). This will be framed and to the wall. Never sold.

Did any of these actually get released (officially)? Yes, there were a limited number sold at the Bristol Museum - they were pulled pretty quickly. There were two versions, the one with the white photoshopped background, being the second version, had a bigger print run and was the one sold through online orders before it was pulled. |

Ah nice, the first print run! This is the only other one Iโve seen. Purchased mine in person at the museum on a random visit. They only had around 5 or so there - donโt think many were produced/sold before the second print run with the white background. Whilst no big deal or โofficialโ these are cool little prints with an interesting story - especially with so few being out there and the gifted piece being on permanent display in the museum.

Its a photo of the piece donated by Banksy to the Bristol museum that was printed and sold by the museum, without authorization from Banksy and hence it was removed from sale.
Still its a nice poster and I place it in the same kind of league as unauthorized album covers such as Dirty Funker etc if you like that kind of thing.

This was a mistake on our part. We own the art work in question and had been granted permission to produce the image in our Guide to the Art gallery published last Autumn.
