Would be nice to be able to think about a purchase and maybe consider if three would work together on one wall......but in reality no time to ponder and consider unless you have deep pockets. Need to buy v quick or it all ends in tiers, so to speak.
Pretty sure most of these will sell out, small edition size of 50, v personal portraits and lots of her exhibitions on at the moment. Perfect time for this kind of launch IMHO.
Personally I think they are a mixed bag. I loved one of them and then quite liked a few others. Not sure about CE tier system but I think T Emin prints have been good value compared to other artists for the last 10 years or so
I didn’t buy I Think of You print from CE as it had gone from £900 to £1100 in the 2 days it took me to get the money. I really regret not buying it now as I really liked it
I see it is all sold out at £8k now on CE website
Im glad to see T Emin getting some love that she rightly deserves and amazing work considering the year she is having
Hope her recovery continues

Did you check Christies/ Sotheby’s/ Phillips? They should have a few results. If I remember they were around the 6/7k gbp mark but not sure how actual those amounts are.

It’s interesting that they put all 8 prints into pre-release at the same time, giving some people a 10 day head start on some of the editions.
I often turn a blind eye to Counter’s pricing, but I do think many of the prints are strong so will have an intrinsic value today and for years to come which isn’t miles off Counter’s pricing.

I don't want to overly emphasise auction results, but I can't find any (only checked Phillips and Sothebys) instances of a single print selling for > £10k.

You will struggle to find any Emin print that went for more than about 6K. |
