How much of this work did Mason Storm actually paint? I only ask because as I look at the print, I'm confronted with two different styles, and levels of proficiency, when it comes to painting. The gun, and the money, being the most obvious examples. He has been around for quite some time and he certainly has some painting skills, i just find the content some what dull and not overly clever. I reckon he could make a fortune if he set up down on Brighton Pier and knocked out mini portraits of holiday makers with their rock and floss. I wonder what Mr Rockwell would make of the likes of MS & MBW? (at least MS has some artist talent i heard him whisper.). |

I concur with what Lroy said, Mason is a great guy, very satirical, very cynical, lot of humor... and believe me, unlike other artists he doesn't get pissed off when you come to his FB page and said bad stuff or throw bad jokes. He doesn't have that big attitude and like to have fun as well.
He is a great painter but his topic are not for everybody and a bit dark. He is a very skill painter.
And people who never heard of him, just one advice, may be it would a good time to leave this forum and get to discover other artists other than Stik, Chevrier and al.

i agree with the boss ( happy new year ! ) ! I have a fabulous print ( about Ben Laden arrest, as good as Any great street-artists, better even ) that Mason has done before that he has sent me for free after a funny competition ( 1 meter x 70 cm ) and another one he made about Banksy ( more in his hyperrealism style ) ... This man is a great artist and professional - with his part of mystery too - the man lives masked - and he is not as unknown as you think ( it is true that if most of you is only looking on the Internet for a Banksy or Kaws, you won't know him ! Thomasmwr, you have a lot if scepticism about artists ( yesterday it was Stik, today Mason ) ...
