But I'm going to have to go full keyboard warrior on this one!  As a Banksy supporter, street art advocate and over the last 20 years a published author of street art books in my experience this show beggars belief... Over the years we've had the wilful absurdity of Mr Brainwash and hundreds of Banksy bootleggers, but this is a new meaningless low... The paintings are Banksy clipart - but somehow done in a way that doesn't imitate successfully or parody. The choice of clipart is limited to a couple of options - a helicopter or Charlie Brown Every painting seems executed deliberately badly in terms of composition, garish colours and lack of coherence or meaning - consistent in their ugliness. The absurdity of showing this work in an exhibition feels like it should be a scene in Idiocracy - the 2006 science fiction comedy! I guess that is the punch line - it is so stupid that it will appeal to some people who not the sharpest. Contender for his 'best insult on the forum' contest

But seeing these new pieces brought into doubt that these were from the same person who was painting photo realistic old masters. I would like to see him painting an old master live then i'll believe he has talent. Otherwise ill have to assume they are painted by others just like some of mr B's. He didn't paint it any more than you got an 'official' Banksy debit card last year...
I will be receiving an official Banksy debit card in the mail shortly, cant say where I got it but I think it will be able to be used on BBay.
