Mason Storm ๐ฌ๐ง New Print Release โข Who is Mason Storm?, by sl on Jan 4, 2022 23:22:03 GMT 1, What was the lights on and off about? can someone shed some light ๐ When the Monkey Parliament painting resurfaced in 2019 to be sold at Sotheby's (after being exhibited at Bristol Museum in 2009) there were some changes made. The lights in the ceiling were off, a banana pointed the other way and a few other details. And the name had been changed to Devolved Parliament. Some believe there are two versions of the painting, but Banksy is known for changing his art over the years so that is nothing I agree with. I think I was the first to notice the changes.

Iโve had conversations with mason via Instagram and I have no doubt at all that he painted the original of this and other work by banksy, and is hamstrung by an NDA If you review banksyโs body of work, you can clearly see different styles and so it is fair to assume that he employs different artists to execute different works, as hirst for example does This forum can be extremely narrow minded and over protective when it comes to banksy sometimes

I personally think he's just a clever pr person. Milking an imaginary association with Banksy and paying some 3rd world person to paint what he wants. Seeing how long oils can take to dry he's certainly churning out originals at the moment. The non banksy works he's done are lacking imagination imho, so if he is a talented painter he certainly needs banksy's ideas. But as it stands I can't believe he can paint and its all a scam. Mason you like your videos so how about a bit of live painting and drawing and I will take back what i've said and believe what you say.
