I've also ordered. I think the heat that Denis has received here is ridiculous. Got my Invader dvd through SoldArt & the service was great; pre-ordering this to avoid disappointment was a no brainer.

Maybe jealousy or other thing, i don't know and don't care.
It's not the first time i'm in front this kind of this situation and it's a lot of stress for nothing, because we have nothing to hide !!
You don't have idea of the impact, this kind comments, here, on forum, social media influence Collectors and have consequences, so quickly !!!
It can turn the things really bad in few words...
My post is just to inform and share the pre-sale are open.
So thank's to keep your opinion for you, just like that, it's the best things.
This is not an accusation to anyone or the way they do or have done business etc. The pre-sale sounded strange, with high prices and a lot of side notes always changing; this gave me and others the doubt of the legitimacy of the sale. This is why I asked directly the Invader store - which are the author and editor - for clarifications. They also stated that the book would be available in some bookstores. They told me that they were not aware of this company reselling the book and that they were - in this case - a non-legit reseller with also a different price and cover of the book. So, what would you think? I just posted Orbi's reply and Denis got all fired up and defensive etc, also not using the nicest words. Personally, I prefer to use the official sellers or re-sellers, but everyone is free to resale or buy whatever they want. Have they done previously good re-sales? I would likely say so from your comments. Do they have a nice way to approach this legitimately dubious sale (for someone)? Nope. Good luck everyone on getting the book, whatever you pay or wherever you decide to get it from.

We have some experience of shipping couple of book and improve shipping process for books and artworks..

Personally I always prefer to buy directly from the artists. Especially in Invader´s case since he normally adds a little sticker or a postcard. BUT I have ordered books from Sold Art and they always arrived super well packaged - on the other hand I have received books from Space Shop with dents on the corners due to the lack of bubble wrap.

For my part, I started collecting since four years now, and invader was one of the first artist to catch my eyes. I did not buy his LA invasion guide as I didn’t know much about the artist and because as a student my priority was my studies and not collecting. Now I regret it, as my collection is increasing but those books are becoming more and more difficult to get as the price is going super high for some. Even if I didn’t grab my first invasion guide back in 2017, I manage to grab most of invader release since 2018. I’m just crossing fingers now that a book for Marseille or djerba will be released

Hopefully that new generations are continuing to discover art and street-art. You are the future ( you know I have had all the old Invader books, sold most of all apart Paris of course ).. The most beautiful an original is without contest Invaderoma, a real little gem ! This one will be great too ! thank you ! Invader is great in books ! one of the best ! Awesome photos;.. |

I think that the conclusion that the book will be mass produced was the personal opinion of someone on the forum and it might be true or not.
My opinion is it will be similar to the past books. I.e. there will be few releases in the space shop and otherwise you'll have a couple weeks to buy it until it's sold out in the good bookstores. Some of those bookstores might only sell in store or ship in France. So if you don't have access to the French market you might want to secure your copy sooner than later.

Doesn’t anyone think this book will be limited? If the invasion guides are limited then it seems odd to make a mass produced book / catalogue of just prints and maps doesn’t it?
