They know who they are and i know who I am ! Prudence... So better ignore and block me, never mind. That's said : There were 800 ex ( or 500 ? can't remember ) on the Space Shop and 500 nearly sold out in half an hour. So I guess that there were 800 as there were still some on line the day after. Others ( a big number ) has been kept for his Japanese market. There is Oti, his gallery there too. Another big number has been kept for the exhibition. A relative number has been kept for Fnac and bookstores on line. They were not in sales in the Fnac shop ( not on line ) as there were no control about the sales, only cahsiers typing ! ). Invader did not want that people bought them as packs of fags. So, nonne in kinda supermarkets... Some as been in sale in " good French bookstores " ( not parisian only, that is obvious ) Invader asked bookeepers to sale only one per customer ( a guy near where I live, asked already 10 to preorder thursday but he will have only one when they will get them ). In lucky and good bookstores, friday there were quite a lot. The day after, saturday, all was gone. Is it interesting ? I dunno. It shows just ( as for the Obey print on GI that was not on line in fact ), that editors, artists have to keep books or prints for other markets, exhibition, galeries ( Obey ' s speciality ) or shops..
It's why sometimes it's quickly sold out : you read " 4000 ex " , and all is structured ( Invader is a person very well organised - as his tiles ! - , this clever and creative artist likes perfection and he makes perfect art ) , in fact there were not so many ( even if "4000 " is a big number ). Anyway it was really easy to catch one. Apart if you had no more battery on your cellphone, or if you were at work. It was the Sunday Express news on UAA, no Times left nor Mirrors, and no naked girl in page 3.. The Sun is shining and all is alright on here mates ! Don’t be parano ; I tagged you and lefts another post on the other soldart thread : no confusion please, you were asking how and why there were already one in Catawiki! Why ? Because they are in some shops since Friday in France. it was to help/answer you. There were a lot.

This is true ! Even Soldart won’t have them before March, and Fnac the same, they will ship them in March. No sure that all orders will be honored, so. Same for bookstores, the ones working already each year with Invader got them Friday ( I have pics ) , the others ordered the books this last Friday but won’t get them until March. Next week if you prefer.
You live in France ? Did you call again the spaceshop ? It’s bookstore keepers that told me that. Serious ones.

We start shipping after pick up all copy, directly in Paris (around 950 km from our office), so after 10 march.
Maybe you ask, why it's so long ?
Because this 10 next days we will have more informations about how many books we can have.
The situation is really different from the release of previous books from the Artist and not so easy.

I forgot to say, Invader, at the contrary of a lot of arists does not take a lot of margins on its sales, mostly nothing. Just art for art.
