Invader “Prints on Paper” Book , by Edouard on Mar 6, 2021 20:00:38 GMT 1, I don't know why ebay charge taxes but there is NO customs tax on books. Maybe it's another tax but no customs at all. Books are part of exempt products. Agreed - definitely no import duty, VAT or other customs charges on books being imported to the UK. The Ebay decision is an interesting one - don't know what is going on there, but it must be to do with their pratices.
I read a lot of stuff about it and in fact this is an ebay programm (GSP, Global Shipping Program) supposed to simplify the custom stuff but that's a big nonsense. People pay big taxes (higher than with the real customs) to ebay but despite that you can be hit by customs at the delivery!
You can avoid those ebay taxes because I buy a lot on ebay from all over the world and I never paid this. Seller needs to put his own shipping fees and not using the GSP.

I always shipped " as gift " , same as you ( Invader, Banksy, Slinkachu many many ) and it was ok.
Now post office ( another thing) is asking you to ship the artworks after to have previously registrated them on the web, with Q code etc.. Before it was only paper..

Invader “Prints on Paper” Book , by urbanwear on Mar 7, 2021 16:48:41 GMT 1, I missed the drop from the spaceshop, I preordered a copy from FNAC (order is still pending, I'll probably get the second edition). I live an hour's drive from Ljubljana, tomorrow Slovenia are adding some border restrictions, and here in Trieste we are entering in another 2 week mini-lockdown, so WTF, done a covid test last night and this morning I went to get a book.
Great exibition, calm I was the only visiter.
PS don't ask only one book per customer.
Prints aren't avaiable, but they have a request list only at the museum.

No postcard no stickers, only a flyer in Slovenian of the exhibition.

MGLC is an International Centre of Graphic Art, maybe Covid just f**kup all the visibility of this exhibition.

The International Centre of Graphic Arts is a specialized museum and producer of printed and contemporary art, based on the heritage of the Biennial of Graphic Arts and 20th century art of printing. MGLC was established on 25 December 1986 by the city of Ljubljana, upon the initiative of the longtime head of the Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts and director of MGLC, dr. Zoran Kržišnik. It has been the job of MGLC from the outset to perform a number of activities that are interrelated and complementary in their nature.
