I had no idea that it would be the second entry in the book!

Interesting position, I thought it might have been a troll post, but I'll respond genuinely.
Considering the book depicts only paper representations of a hugely diverse mixed media art output, it could be seen as "unimaginative" - IF it were all he'd managed to do, release wise. But we know that's far from the case, and a monograph is hard to present considering the detail in multiple other volumes that together comprise an all-encompassing assessment of his work.
That said, I'm inclined to agree on some of the prints, and I passed on many over the years. In hindsight this was obviously a mistake, but it's the truest evidence that he didn't nail broad appeal on all his releases. But can you name an artist that has?

What is the edition number of the second printing? Sorry, if it has been asked before. It doesn't have an edition size, so presumably as many as he wants to print. If it had a size it would be noted same way first edition was i believe. |
