Saw it, took a minute to vomit, wondered why it wasn't a huge thread on the forum and moved on with me day.

Selling around the £3k mark... Flippers in UK will need to consider import duty..

David Shrigley • The World, by Poster Bob on Apr 17, 2021 13:38:55 GMT 1, It would be best to phrase it that two which were listed at £3k have sold. There are now nine at £5k or so and I suspect there will be a competitive race to the bottom after which these will appreciate. It'll be entertaining to see what they do.
To opine on something that was mention by someone else, no one in their right mind cares about a measely 5% import tax when something is already selling for three times the first-tier price. Who could possibly care?

David Shrigley • The World, by theclash on Apr 17, 2021 14:08:02 GMT 1, How are his prints worth that much as he seems to churn loads out?
This question around Shrigley causes a lot of debate on this forum. I am a big fan of his work. What I would say is his better prints generally sell out fast and his very best trade at big premiums. So yes they are worth it. He has different level releases similar to Obey and is prolific like Seen so anyone who wants a work can get one

I think the fact that he only ever does editions of 125 is also quite interesting, as although he is prolific the edition sizes are relatively small, making the popular images pretty desirable
