I don't know why some people use such tight tubes. Higher risk of damage and more risk with the receiver trying remove it from the tube and to unroll it. The cost of saving on packing and shipping would not be worth the risk of returns and refunds.

I have seen this also on a good occasions. I have had issues also buying prints from collectors, where prints were badly packaged and put in tubes that were too small resulting in damage.
