Paying 400 USD from Black river auction, who appear to be selling hundreds of reproduced Bridget Riley, Ed Ruscha, images, amongst other artists, every week, should have been a warning alarm. If it's too good to be true...

Just hope you paid on CC.

BUYER BEWARE
Listed as "Colored Offset lithograph, Printed circa late 20th Century"! Printed a week earlier on a color copier!!

Fake item — buyer BEWARE
I bought what I thought was a signed lithograph for a good price. When it arrived, it was nothing but a copy of an original printed on someone’s inkjet printer. I was refunded after I had to go through the trouble of repacking this piece of garbage and sending it back and only after I threatened them with an expose. DO NOT buy from this auction house.

Totally Misrepresented
Item described as a photo and it is no such thing. I way overpaid for a piece of cheap cardboard.

Fake artwork advertised as real. Scam!
Do not buy from them. We bought five pieces about 2 months ago. All were advertised as legitimate and one was even signed. About $1800. The pieces arrived quickly as advertised. They were all reproductions, and the signature was forged. We requested a refund and shipped our items back (even better packed than when they sent it). The communication was smooth until that point. We shared the items 'tracking number for the return and were told we'd be refunded once they arrived-which did not happen and we're still waiting on. W followed up countless of times both via email and phone. Nothing. We are still being blown off (after over 2 weeks of them having the pieces back) because this auction house is a FULL ON SCAM selling fake artwork as real. Do not buy from Black River Auction. You will be scammed and ignored. I am amazed that LiveAuctioneers allows such a scam operation to exist on their platform.

Fakes
The items are technically as listed but when (not even that closely) inspected, they are just inkjet prints that they poured some tea on to age the paper (and poor quality prints at that). Don't waste your time or money unless the item you're looking at is dirt cheap If you don't mind that the item is fake and you like the image enough, there's your reason.

SCANDALOUS FAKES
Bought several items here, some were "technically" correctly described but terrible quality. Other items are outright fakes including a "watercolor" that is an inkjet print on dirty paper and several "silkscreens" that are digitally output. Looks like the "offset gravures" are just pages cut from books and mounted to board to hide the fact that there is other printing on the back. It takes a long time to receive the work because they are MAKING most of it. Black River Auction house is completely brazen in marketing total fakes — it is scandalous that they continue to have auctions.

Be patient and make lots of money! If you want them enough and have the resource you’ll get them in time, there are multiple out there and I’ve seen all of them up for sale at one point or another in the last few years. Whether they are worth it at those prices is another conversation.

I just don’t think they’re worth that, you shouldn’t by paying more than £35k at auction for any of these apart from maybe 1 or 3 which don’t seem to come up as often.

Another lovely piece that was included in a sale/trade I did with another forum member (along with the Connor Brothers I'm selling) which I loved...but my wife doesnt and I committed to another piece so this is the compromise.  The print signed and in mint condition with receipt.  Sad to see this one go but under orders from my wife to scale back.  Prefer pickup in London W4 but can look in to sending it.  It's currently stored flat.  If you're interested in this and the Connor Brothers I'm selling then we can work out a deal!
