It's 112 x 90cm which is massive for her, if you're not paying VAT and getting a discount so in at around ยฃ9k it's a good buy IMO. These will still be around ยฃ15k secondary once absorbed into the market based on size and colours. There is a smaller one for around ยฃ7.5k which is still 100 x 70cm again good buy IMO, and you should get 10% discount, can see this at around ยฃ10-11k. Smaller one which is also big at like 110 x 60cm it's a bit crap but like ยฃ4500 with discount so again probably a little money in it, probably ยฃ6-6.5 secondary. For your UK buyers paying 20% on all of these are tight, if you're buying to flip I'd advise having them shipped to a jurisdiction without sales tax.

I ship work out of town for framing now ( I'm in London ), but with proper non reflective glass it won't be cheap.
I think it would look great in the flesh, but I'm with you on lack of wall space. Starting to look like the RA Summer show in here.

To be fair there has been nothing for sale through Bridget Riley Services for a number of years. Suspect all future primary sales will be via Cristea Roberts. There were some really good prints available from BRS when the last Edinburgh and London retropective show was on - all very reasonable. I bought one then, but looking back should have stretched the budget for more. Prices generally now off the scale on secondaryโฆโฆ |

Always hard to gauge current market price - Rileyโs work in general has increased in value significantly in recent years - even previous entry level prints go for ยฃ5k plus at auction. Iโd expect a private sale of Rose Rose to be around ยฃ11k, with auction sales ยฃ13k plus. Itโs a nice print and one I regret missing on release as had the chance to buy primary ๐GLWTS

Thanks mate... we have a 6 month old little man and we bought it for him to enjoy whilst growing up and, hopefully, help him out when he's a young adult.
I'd have been delighted if my mum had bought me a Haring/Basquiat/Warhol as a child... as a woman from the south east of England, she wasn't too hot on the New York art scene of the 80s. Nor did we have the money for it. Glad to have been able to bust an nut to get the Riley and hoping it inspires something in the little man.
