I know the value of art and this one is over valued, I understand it's not a "normal" run but it is over ambitious with the price and I am pointing that out, plus it's a major piss take... Lampsy, photoxtc has an amazing collection and I highly doubt he's jealous of you or the seller. I think he's making a good point in that when a print sells for a multiple of it's cost, stupid people assume that the same multiple applies to originals.
I personally think that the current secondary market pricing is going to lead tot he downfall of this movement/scene. Graffiti/street/urban art is meant to be for everyone and in the extreme sense, free (as in on the streets). collectors/fans without deep pockets are already rushing to a subculture/underground movement (which I won't mention as it would suck if the usual suspects of flippers start paying attention to it.) Contrary to what most people think I very much beleive that this is a bubble...rant over.

Listen, if the seller wants a pound of bananas for a piece its up to them - whether it sells or not is another story. i doubt the seller cares unless he or she (bit of both maybe) needs the bangers & mash to put food on the table!

id love to get some feedback from D to the thought and direction behind all these remakes. IMO only one or two of them actually works and shows creative progression, the rest just seem like sapping every last penny from a popular set of images
