Banksy • Time Out Poster • Sydney, London, New York, by curiousgeorge on Mar 8, 2010 19:46:52 GMT 1, I think people are getting a bit Remember these are just posters and a magazine Your not paying hundreds for them so they aint gonna arrive in a bomb proof tube with security guards making sure its in mint condition. yea but did you see the condition of mine? would you not be bothered? and its £10...thats alot for a s**t condition poster?
Ask for a replacement?...... Obviously stating you don't want it looking like a dog has chewed it

Still shows in stock to me.
No poster or magazine yet. Went on the site without knowing about the banksy issue because I just wanted an issue for ideas for the weekend. Very disappointing.

Banksy • Time Out Poster • Sydney, London, New York, by suckerpunch on Mar 8, 2010 20:26:21 GMT 1, Hi people new to this forum, im from Bristol myself and is very normal for me to be walking past a Banksy most dayz, just read all of these posts and shocked by how Timeout has handled this mag and poster release, to advertise and sell something stating that it is limited and has a edition size, then changing it a couple of times is so not on, More of a con in my eyes, so not tennis, making a mistake on the listing happens but changing the info couple of times, boy! is that illegal??? false advertising?, i may be wrong but hey hope you guys sort your problem out.

Well I was!
It's been ages since I've bought TO... and I thought this would be a great opportunity to revisit it and get some sort of Banksy-themed-keep it-in-a-box-magazine at the same time. Sadly it looks as if all the listings will be useless to me. I feel quite disappointed by this.

Time out backed by Mr B for a small price get a poster and mag as a memento of the film you might have seen or will want to, or probably not? its not a piece of art its a poster and mag for £20, what do you people want? Crazy!!!!! mine will be stuck on the fridge with blue tak, will make me smile every morning... until I get bored of it....

I haven't read a single post saying anyone is "Gutted". I'm more bemused by timeout's apparent incompetence. Just on the magazine side - you run a weekly listings magazine thats availble to order online, but don't get it out to your customer in time for the info to be of any use. Crazy!!!!!
Obviously as the magazine didn't arrive I was paralysed - couldn't leave the house and will now be suing timeout for wasting my weekend.

Banksy • Time Out Poster • Sydney, London, New York, by They call me Stephen on Mar 8, 2010 23:59:59 GMT 1, A poster I was going to put under my bed is creased and my latest issue of Time Out isn’t here yet so I can’t see what’s going on in London tomorrow night. Worse still it is an unlimited magazine run so I can't even sell it on eBay in the near future...boo hoo hoo. This girl can fuck off, I want my money back.
This thread is beyond ridiculous, people are moaning because the edition size of a magazine has changed and some shitty £10 posters are creased. So what....a) proceeds go to the Haiti earthquake relief fund and b) it's a £10 near on unlimited poster from a company who don’t normally sell this kind of thing, not a small edition from an established print house. It is a shame that the posters have been sent out so shoddily but oh well, life goes on which is more than can be said for the 200,000+ people caught up in the Haiti disaster. I bet the girl's family from the picture above or any from this link couldn't care less if their copy of Time out has writting on the front cover. www.boston.com/bigpicture/2010/01/earthquake_in_haiti.html
Time Out, if you are reading, don't worry about sending my copy of the magazine or poster on to me, I have read the interview online and the magazine will end up inevitably in the bin. Regarding my poster can you please do me a favour and take a mint copy to the house one of the numerous moaning middle aged twats from here, knock on their suburban front door and when they answer proceed to rip it up in front of them whilst telling them to get a fucking grip of themselves.

You both are missing the fact that people have the right to an opinion.
!) Many people have damaged posters. 2) Magazine is a week out of date 3) Time out told fibs more than once about edition sizes 4) Proceeds to Haiti was only mentioned a lot later on 5)Time out are f*&*&"g people around with regards to refunds.
So let people have their say without calling people names and offending. Some middle aged suburban people have earned the right to an opinion............

Not sure what your problem is. I can't be disappointed that a company offering a weekly listing magazine can't get it out to me in time for the listings to still be relevant.
