Someone just got a bargain a I think. The one in Christies is already at 22,000 euro with plenty of time left so this was a steal and a few have hammered at around ยฃ30k. I was hesitating to bid, but I was worried about the wavy paper. And it's framed, so could be glued or duck taped.... It does have PC COA. 16K with 25% BP would have been 20K euro....

Toxic Mary looked very sharp. Crisp corners.
A bit wavy, but not serious. It was in a 1200 euro frame, so should be properly done.
Someone in Switzerland got a steal !!

They made a special wooden box, and I mean not one of those cheap little thing you sometimes get, you could jump on this thing and nothing would happen (even sprayed the name Hessink's on it in Banksy style ) and they sent it with FedEx. When I got my shipping invoice it thought that can't be right. So I checked the price with FedEx. Apparently they get a near 75% discount on their shipping with FedEx. The shipping was about ยฃ6 more than had it been sent with Royal Mail. |
