Tate Ward / Artsy - 24th Feb, by derivitive on Feb 11, 2021 18:01:12 GMT 1, You would think after being caught selling multiple fake Banksy posters they would take a break. Nope. Selling more posters and tat. We know there are fake soup can posters and box sets. What do they have? Soup can poster and box set! How many will turn out to be fake in the next 6 months? I'll never do business with tate ward.

Tate Ward / Artsy - 24th Feb, by robo on Feb 12, 2021 0:29:47 GMT 1, Seems unfair there are some really good works in there. Less Banksy signed / unsigned editions than usual, but some solid originals and editions by others.

Care to expand on what you think is unfair?

No. They had the opportunity to "reflect on past decisions" and could have that as a "a learning opportunity" to "change what they allow in their auctions" and how "going forward they would not allow posters or other ephemera". But they didn't. They are doing the same thing they have been doing by including posters and ephemera that have already been flagged as having fakes on the market.
In other words, instead of doing the thing that would have been best for their name and brand, they did the complete opposite. They might as well sell an "open edition for charity" of the fake petrol bomb posters they have been peddling for a long time.

Tate Ward / Artsy - 24th Feb, by tab1 on Feb 12, 2021 10:15:55 GMT 1, They were the tat platform Supporting the high tat prices Noted a few sellers using their completed sales still in their own sales listings How can anything be perceived honest and genuine with what has gone on. FAke sales and shill bids to prop up the market then to sell fake items privately. More anger with a invader book release than what has gone on here

Those tacky skateboards your account seems to hype exclusively I am not going to keep going round & round in circles but when you have chosen to educate yourself on the Clown Skateboards brand & the close affiliation with Banksy please do explain how the words ‘tat’ & ‘tacky’ were at the forefront of your mind? Nobody is claiming it to be the best thing to ever hit the art market but let’s face it they are pretty iconic in terms of Banksy history coming from original acetates you cannot really deny this given the provenance & I for one no that they are incredibly desirable to the Banksy collector market, It will all become apparent very soon no doubt & you can pick your jaw up off the floor when it happens. Here’s a little article for you to read should you wish to do so which will hopefully educate you just a little on how closely affiliated Banksy was with the Clown Skateboards brand back in 2000 before he blew up on the scene.. keep rollin’🛹💥

Tate Ward / Artsy - 24th Feb, by terryfuckwitt on Feb 15, 2021 13:31:23 GMT 1, I'm hoping to finally get a genuine Kaws Tokion poster. So many fakes of these around, I presume this auction now is going to be the safest place to buy a genuine one.

Now, this made me chuckle.
Are they REALLY selling one of those, after all this!?

Such a bargain for a postcard that was 4 pounds and then discounted to 2 pounds.
