I was at the White Cube night where they showed a number of her films a year or two back, coinciding with a Fortnight of Tears. Although Iโve never particularly been into video art, her films are a very important part of her oeuvre.
White Cube Masons Yard was showing Homage to Edvard Munch and All My Dead Children as part of its recent exhibition (coinciding with RA). That was fantastic - screams filling the whole gallery every few minutes.

I think thereโs a lot of writing about Tracey these days because itโs only dawning on people just how much stuff sheโs produced. I have stuff up on the wall of hers covering a 35 year time span and a lot of the earlier (pre 2000?) work is neglected in most writings (and exhibitions). Sheโs prolific and wonderful, and hopefully there are a few more decades to come.
