I don't know that anyone has actually seen one but I would be surprised if they did since he signed 500 of them. Still cool, regardless, for much less than the non-stop flurry of OE vinyl figures.

Yesterday I received a despatch document from Macmillen, the distributor for Phaidon.
Today, I got this:

We unfortunately continue to experience unavoidable delays in receiving this book into our distribution center. At this time, we are unable to provide you with a firm delivery date. I guess this was their preferred solution for the different colour ways.

Many of you might have already known him in this forum but he is seriously a one of a kind person. I missed this book at the beginning for a very split second and John very kindly offered his copy to me. At cost. Me and John don't know each other, we live by the opposite sides of the planet but we have two things in common: this forum and a passion for books & art. Especially in these past two years of Covid, I have seen people turning their back to friends, becoming more and more greedy and more selfish, completely uncaring of the people around. My feelings for the human kind have changed. A lot., in these two years, in worse. John and some other guys in here - that I have already thanked before - have been able to shine a light in my dark pessimism and cynical view on people. Not that I would stop being cynical about the human kind, but let's say, thank to John, I will be a bit less. I will hold this book as a treasure and not only as a very special book, but also as a memory that there is kindness around. The book is beautiful and really well done. Thank you John. Dario
