Not sure how credible this site is, but it says it sold for £7.8k if you search for Damien Hirst. 130point.com/sales/

Damien Hirst H9 • The Virtues, by Deleted on May 10, 2021 21:59:59 GMT 1, On the wall. Don’t have any really big walls in our house but happy with this spot. This looks great! I really want to see how it looks on the back; and how it was put together.
It looks like any other frame from behind in that it’s all sealed up.
Inside, there is an extra piece of board attached to the back board which the top rail hangs on. There is another piece at the bottom to stop it flapping around which was slotted into place when the print was hooked on the top piece. So no glue or anything sticky on the print.

Unfortunately, I don't have a pension, I wish I did, nor do I collect skateboards. :-) Some skateboards do well!!
Many more people have posted results on this release than I have. People were asking what the ebay results - since you can't find them that easily anymore.
I was just one of the few who supported this release. I'm sorry, if people like you were convinced - since the beginning - these were going to do really poorly and sell for less than cost. I don't think that happen anymore.
If anyone bought a set... Freaking good for you!! These are doing very well and they look fantastic framed or not framed. It'll be fun to see these at a major auction and to see all the people still cry over these. wah wah wah. :-)

I get much more nice DMs then comments on here so I'm fine with all the silliness/anger. Thank you to those who do send me the positives DMs.

It’s starting to feel a bit like Treblenobass protecting his precious skateboards Are those posts not making you FOMO like the rest of us? FOMO on a timed released for a week that anyone could have purchased? You mean - again - you told people not buy a good release... which you probably did secretly anyways. Like the Gerhard Richter or Nara - you posted them here. Can you explain to me and everyone here how any one member on UAA can influence a Nara, Richter or Hirst market like you keep saying? I'm still lost on that....
I thought we were cool. You DM last - apologizing and saying we were good. So again - here you go.
Again, someone had asked for the link and results and I posted. If anything forget about the hirst results and use the link to find other results on ebay. I'm sure the link will help people. That is the main reason why I posted the results. Thank you to the person above who originally posted the link. The link is very useful.

The people who said these would be selling at cost had/have no idea.
Art Wise - these sit just below the spot prints (which Hirst said he won’t produce any more works on paper) in my opinion.
Money wise - What I will say is that it looks like they are drip feeding them out which is very wise. Wait until a large auction sale to set a real price precedent. FWIW I still think large spot prints are undervalued.

Damien Hirst H9 • The Virtues, by lawrencej on May 11, 2021 20:24:33 GMT 1, I’m one of the people who bought but thought these wouldn’t particularly appreciate. I’m happy to be proven a little wrong so far, but that happiness pales in comparison to that which I get from the art itself, which I will never sell. Assuming they actually get delivered of course.
One thing to keep in mind is that these might simply be another asset that is caught up in the liquidity bubble; there is very likely a high degree of correlation between timed editions and inferior equities, 2nd rate property, altcoins, etc - all of which are bid by association but will dramatically underperform in the event that the punch bowl is taken away.

Thank you to the person above who originally posted the link. The link is very useful. What are you talking about? I didn't tell anyone not to buy this print or the Richter print on the primary. Buying on the secondary market is something else. I regret all of my Heni purchases because they're just expensive overly shiny prints that aren't at all impressive in person. Luckily they're worth something and there some rich idiots out there who don't know how to buy from the source, otherwise, I'd be jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge.
I didn't buy this print, but they look pretty nice nonetheless. I would've preferred this image over the ugly hirst splatters that I have on my wall.
You're just a bit touchy whenever you get a little ribbing. You're here to hype your purchases like the rest of us, but you're just a bit too obvious about it and say you help instead of hype. That's okay. I'm cool with you, but that doesn't mean I won't make fun of you or anyone else here when there's an obvious opportunity.
Do you really like heni prints over any thing else on your wall?

Apologies for the comparison to Treblenobass. That may have been a bit excessive. I actually own two of these so have no issues with the value of them soaring. However, I’m not overly pumped by how they look in the flesh (I wasn’t either with my Richter dibond) so every time I see this thread has been updated, I hope it may be someone posting a nice framing solution (like EKAP) Unfortunately 80% of the time it’s just someone saying “Look how much these are worth now!” Which can become a bit tiresome.
It’s honestly great that they’re going up in value. But it would be even better if there were more posts about the art and framing of the prints and less about the value.

Damien Hirst H9 • The Virtues, by nixon451 on May 12, 2021 4:01:06 GMT 1, This looks great! "Inside, there is an extra piece of board attached to the back board which the top rail hangs on." -- I understand this. Thank you.
"There is another piece at the bottom to stop it flapping around which was slotted into place when the print was hooked on the top piece." -- This I am having a hard time visualizing.

Me too. My framer (who always does an excellent job) was very pleased with what he’d achieved though - I’ll get some more details from him when I see him next.

My framer is doing a very similar frame for mine and said he’s going to take photos along the way to share with the farmer’s guild. I’ll see if he’ll let me share his photos when I pick it up next week.
He’s mounting it with something fixing all four sides (not glue, the mounting is totally reversible) - I have no idea how he can do that!
