The people who said these would be selling at cost had/have no idea.ย Art Wise - these sit just below the spot prints (which Hirst said he wonโt produce any more works on paper) in my opinion.ย Money wise - What I will say is that it looks like they are drip feeding them out which is very wise. ย Wait until a large auction sale to set a real price precedent. FWIW I still think large spot prints are undervalued.ย

Sales on eBay have crept up to ยฃ7-9k now. Whilst I own* one and don't mind that at all, it does seem a bit much so soon.

So I'm now on the hunt, tail between my legs, for a virtue... unwilling to pay gallery prices.
I know, flippers will want to have made their money out of them before parting, but I'm not paying anything silly.
Sensible offers will all be considered though.

What's the gallery price that's unreasonable?
There's a bunch on eBay for around ยฃ7k it seems, might be your best bet.

I imagine most have had problems with DHL here. Incompetent at best. Truth is, driver ran out of time and couldn't be arsed to deliver today. If you're lucky they might deliver it tomorrow, but don't get your hopes up. Oh and don't bother wasting your time phoning customer services, they don't give a fuck and you probably know more about where your parcel is than they do. Good luck and hope it arrives soon.

Delivery, buying or selling, is always nerve racking and frustrating. First world problems, but problems none the less

I've physically aged over the last few years watching and refreshing delivery update links. My new nightmare is consigning to an auction house in the UK and navigating DHL to assign the auction house bond to it so I dont pay customs.
