Damien Hirst H9 • The Virtues, by thos on Aug 6, 2021 17:58:19 GMT 1, Mine has finally been framed and thought I'd show the back re label + signature. Great job! Done at Gale & Co and I just let them do what they wanted. Love that framing! If I had one of these, this is exactly what I would want as well.

Does that make it special or show it’s the least loved? Oddly I liked this one the best

The prints only offer a slight impression of the dimension and vividness of the originals. Absolutely fantastic artworks!

Scoop them up whilst you can. Don’t forget these virtues prints were available for all for a week.

My crystal ball must have been playing up that day. Well done to anyone who did buy these obviously in hindsight I wish I’d bought the set.

Damien Hirst H9 • The Virtues, by Art Fan 2011 on Jan 30, 2022 0:07:19 GMT 1, No expert here - but my guess is that these trade terribly in the secondary market, for quite a while. Too many asset classes have fast returns in a world awash with liquidity, and past-performance-future-returns types without deep pockets will buy these and be quickly disappointed. They’ll dump them, unless of course the Fruitful/Forever experience discourages buying in the first place. Personally I like them, and I’m quite pleased/hopeful that they will be a terrible investment so that this market can become less speculative and more buy & hold. That combined with higher release prices would be a good thing.
Did you not invest when you had the chance 😄

I did. I bought all 8 of them because I liked them, not because I wanted to make money. I think when I posted the above I was frustrated by getting small allocations, or nothing at all, in prior Heni drops. I thought a timed release would fail for flippers, helping real buyers to be allocated in future limited releases. I guess I was wrong! None of my Virtues are for sale now, or ever, I might add. But I guess none of your 8 are either?
