However, your conviction not dishonest/fraud etc, so I would have thought there would be other firms out there who would cover you once you disclose the actual conviction to them bearing in mind the nature? Couple of threads on here with advice on firms to use who would perhaps look at things a bit more sympathetically?

Build a decent sized, maximum security art bunker underground, in your garden. While you're at it, buy some more grow lights, some fans, reflective insulation etc....tap into the local streetlights for you power supply and Bob's your cards right โ

In the U.K. many convictions are considered spent after a certain period of time. This means that, for example, you do not have to tell a prospective employer about it.
The time is not short. It doesnโt apply to some offences. Safeguarding issues are catered for.
The idea is one of rehabilitation, rather than retribution.
I suspect that most modern criminologists consider rehabilitation to be a better criminal justice system than retribution.
Itโs quite separate from parole or release on license.
Itโs a forward thinking system.

Looking further at my hiscox policy it wasnโt cancelled which is good news it had just run out before what was going to be a change over.
Seems hiscox fine arts underwriters have issues with any unspent conviction.
Iโve been speaking to an under writer friend today and hopefully a broker will be sorting ASAP.

Finally covered for ยฃ400k at a cost of ยฃ1500 for the year. Cheaper than hiscox renewal.
To get this I needed to get a 24 hr monitored alarm system to a specific standard, cost ยฃ2k with cctv everywhere.
Through Ajginternational with an independent broker.

With that said their security is cc cams and dogs. It is the flashy suburbs with the most sophisticated on the grid security that ironically get broken into the most, I've mentioned before on here , nothing beats a cc security as a back up in case your cloud security gets easily hacked |
