TateWard • Art Auctions 🇬🇧, by shinkaiser on Oct 14, 2020 23:31:01 GMT 1, Wow! This is madness.
Can't help but think that Banksy has failed in his half arsed attempt to devalue the market (or so I assumed) with the GDP, but hey I'm still salty for not getting anything from that shop. & What the hell happened to his B-Bay site?
Still, glad I have my Palestine poster. Was one of the first to get one at the trade show, didn't think it'll be worth anything but might just hold onto it until it reaches 5k. Which, at this rate looks to be in a few months time!

People are now expecting way too much for every Banksy lot.
It was only a matter of time before things start to slow down a bit. I'd say Banksy sellers had a good run over the last few months

I'm not saying your wrong, but why is it worded like it is? Considering these were £5k and only just sent out, I read it that it was profits above what the seller paid for it.

Fair enough, so NHS gets about £4k and the flipper gets about £9k😉

Until the people doing the pumping at the higher end can't get those unsigned prints to 1 million quid, grown men will be disappointed. Any cooling or contraction is most unacceptable, things must perpetually go up.

Or maybe they just buy all these things themselves and auction them. Why have consigners when you can make all the profit yourself.

Tate = posters ( not real art ) Sotheby's have been around 275 years. Christies has been around 253 years. Tate Ward have been around two years. Maybe a little respect is due from the people that have been on the forum for five minutes.
