I cannot be 100% sure but it appeared u/s Trolleys didn't sell but I could well be wrong.

Danny might take note of that for the next timed auction. You really do need at least 5 minutes after being outbid at the death.
Mind you some can get carried away, and bid more than they wanted to.
It's okay if you have plenty of funds, but sometimes it can lead to unpaid lots.

I was just watching. But if I was going to sell at auction I would not be putting pieces into this format.

They missed the psychology of bidders that missed their first choice could bid on later lots. And if you were interested in several lots, but only could afford one, you only had time to bid on one.

I think the same print had sold at Christies Auction House for over £70k a few weeks before you sold yours so I think you could have comfortably made another £20k+! Still I'm sure £26k was a lot more then you paid for it! |
