TateWard โข Art Auctions ๐ฌ๐ง, by mrrigu on Mar 31, 2023 15:36:15 GMT 1, Those Obey prints, why do they sell for ยฃ200+ when they're open editions that are available in their UK shop for ยฃ100 (or ยฃ60 if you import them from the US)?
There's 2 or 3 of them listed every time they have a sale and they always sell for more than they should. It tempts me to just import some more and make a quick few hundred quid.

TateWard โข Art Auctions ๐ฌ๐ง, by artlife11 on Jul 5, 2023 7:13:20 GMT 1, I have found Tate Ward good to sell with and payments very quick. I had one buyer out of many from Romania who didnโt pay but all others were pursued and collected by TW. I have had a few amazing results I didnโt expect and one or two I expected better. I always felt TW had done there best and they also repaired a painting that was damaged to the highest standard. they also have a very high percentage of items sold. always do your research and I recommend setting the reserve at exactly the right price( not too high and also not too low)

Like are they just stacking the auction with these items they know will go crazy, like the Hockney dog and the Shrigley lemon? Iโve previously noticed some brand new items/releases that come up for auction where there has definitely not been enough time for someone to receive and then consign. The only way they could be available is if they are owned by Tate Ward.
You will also find some artists/galleries placing works direct as well (not that there is anything wrong with this).
To put a positive spin on thisโฆ at least it lowers the carbon footprint. ๐๐
To put a negative spin on thisโฆ ownership does raise the question of shill bidding. ๐ท๐ค

TateWard โข Art Auctions ๐ฌ๐ง, by topper on Oct 13, 2023 13:30:02 GMT 1, It's a bad time to be selling some of these. I certainly wouldn't be selling Human Flow right now.
I noticed in the previous auction that the silver leaf Middle Finger in Black went for less than the much larger edition in Red. Explain that to me...
It will be interesting to see how the Nick Smith Polytheism works go.
