Really digging it, actually! It's the price point though, the regular edition of it just released I would never spend the money on. It feels and looks like any other plaster edition he's done. Just bought a little acrylic case for it to go in. It won't flip, but for $49 I really like it. Guilt free art purchase at that price point.

I would like to buy a Ashram clockand another one ( dornes ) but all this not on line,, and even on line, they don't deliver to my town per example ( as the ikea is closed because of covid )... It is crazy, also couriers and customs need to sort out this problem with charging 20% tax on art that should be 5%. It has certainly put me off buying from the EU since brexshit.

IKEA Art Event 2021, by Dahmer on May 3, 2021 16:15:14 GMT 1, I visited the Croydon branch yesterday afternoon, i wanted one of the clocks for the office, £35 not bad at all to be honest but i was told that they sold out the day before, annoying as i checked online and they said they did have them still, not sure IKEA actually maintains its stock levels at all. I was also told that, that was it and they wont be getting more. When i checked it said they were sold out in greenwich but available in wembley and Tottenham but im never traveling an hour to check on those stores. I'll wait a bit and wait till they drop to retail prices on ebay and get one there...

I’m fairly sure staff hide them safely around the store but as they don’t check out they still show as in stock in the system. Ended up getting a bundle from the super maxi discount bit about 2 months later - so no idea where they’d been for the previous 8 weeks or so. |
