I think โฌ3/4K would have been a reasonable price for that one.
But โฌ6K was a bit too much.
I mean they charged โฌ7,5K for the hand finished Minjun edition and that was an edition of only 10.
If you consider the difference in original works prices between the two artists, the โฌ6K for the Otis print donโt make a lot of sense.
Must say though that the Minjun print was f ugly, the Otis one was absolutely beautiful!

Gotta remember Yue Minjun been around for 3 decades plus with million dollar sales. He gets a pass for that.

This increase the change of buying a piece for the real fans. You then need to put some real effort in it, instead of just find a way to just โbeat the clockโ with f.i. bots or other tricks that arenโt available to normal fans.
For me this would also fit the ideaology that urban street art was never ment to make the rich more richer.

I managed to grab one this time but conscious that, being UK-based, my order might either cancelled or Iโll end up having to pay VAT twice.
