Even if these arenโt original I donโt care. I love the image and they seem to be really good quality. The fact that they are being sold by the original gallery is a bonus, as it lets me fund a business that I want to keep going, even if it is in another country.
Look what happened with the POW soup cans. This is a great opportunity for Haring fans to get a classic imagine on the walls. This is the only reason I still pop into this forum. All the flipping frenzy and how much things are worth gets boring. I blame Instagram.
I look forward to seeing peopleโs framed examples to give me inspiration while mine arrives.

my framer (NYC) does much of the gallery framing and festival framing, didnโt think twice. I believe there are floated images in this thread. Definitely not dry mount. All archive.

Scan thru thread there are images of black, white and red frames, mat and float. White lets the image pop, which is what Keith Haring should do.

Normally the paper is a lot thinner on posters in my experience, Iโm yet to recieve one of these so it was just an assumption.
Iโve dry mounted posters in the past. If I donโt intend to ever selling it doesnโt my much difference to me and looks so much better.

When floating particularly if you want to possibly reverse the process one day a type of double sided tape or hinge flap is often used. The thinner the paper the bigger the chance this becomes visible.

Does anyone remember the Banksy Timeout poster release. People were getting very angry that their ยฃ5 poster were being delivered in not quite perfect condition. At the time I though people were just being fussy especially as it was just a poster (especially as mine arrive damaged), but they sell for about ยฃ400 now. Iโm sure Timeout hated the forum at the time and couldnโt understand the fuss over a mass produced poster.

I agree that for ยฃ250 packing needs to be good. It looks like the early issues with packing are solved and theyโre now sending them out, so we can hopefully all enjoy them soon.
