It's not his best work by a long margin and the size works against it so £4m+ is a good result, it wasn't long ago that this piece sold for a fraction of it's price today.

Considering people here are saying ignore HK auction results - due to inflated prices, which I don't agree with, these results were pretty decent and fair.

I’ve also given a t some thought that HK results don’t count and it’s absolute nonsense.

LV90210 very quite about the Laugh Now at Phillips that didn’t hit lower reserve. I guess he is too busy counting his Peckham Rocks to give a kerboom |

Any serious Banksy collector that could've afforded it, heard about it. That's why Christie's spend millions each year in hospitality building client relationships. |

I am sure it was very well marketed and people who actually have £4m plus to blow on a Banksy painting knew all about it. No point in wasting money marketing to people who cannot afford it anyway. |
