Well what a kerfuffle! today around noon I thought we had sold out of the Shave Drigleys, fantastic i thought and was already planning the next couple. Rich then pointed out that some people had mananged to outwit the website, not difficult tbh, and buy multiple orders, was meant to be a max of 2 per customer, and we should check they didnt think they were by D Shrigley. I emailed a few people who had bought mulitples and the replies were all that they thought they were by Shrigley and wanted a refund. I then went on to email everyone who had bought one, a time consuming task, and a very depressing amount of people said they thought they had been conned, mislead etc. this is what it says on the artist page:

Shave Drigley is the silly pseudonym of pretentious and opportunistic printmaker and gallerista Mark Perronet. He is of the same opinion as Martin Kippenburger, that jumping around from one style to another can in itself be a style, and repeats this to himself often.

The fact that he has the attention span of a flea is entirely coincidental. What is also entirely coincidental is the possibility that Shave Drigley’s work has any similarity with any other artists work. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't, one thing that isn't similar is the price.

we added , this print is NOT by David shrigley , to the description by each print. I guess we should have done that in the first place but it didnt occur to us. They are £55 !

Nice idea! Interestingly the people who were nastiest in their emails, we were trying to con them etc. were the ones who had made multiple orders, and obviously hoped to make a ton of money.

Unfortunately, well not really its a good law, you can ask for a refund if you buy anything online for any reason at all as long as you let the vendor know within two weeks of delivery and return the item within a further two weeks. We are trying to get this all sorted before we send any out at all.

Presumed it was a Shrigley pseudonym, carted it before I'd read the bio and googled Mark Perronet. Glad I passed then. Got a couple of Childish woodcuts and the mangle print from the other year so happy to add to the collection.
